To clear and prevent breakouts, pick up GlyDerm Face Solution Plus 12%, the most powerful toner in the GlyDerm lineup. Intended for those with oily, non-sensitive skin who have seen success using Face Solution 5% and Face Solution Plus 10%, this spray uses a blend of 12% glycolic acid and salicylic acid to remove dirt, oil and debris. With regular use, you can purify pores and dissolve blackheads. It’s also great for minimizing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and for applying directly to back acne.

Reveal smooth, clear skin with GlyDerm Face Solution Plus 12%.
Apply to clean skin. Shake bottle well and spray Solution onto cotton ball or pledget. Apply sparingly. To ensure tolerance, leave first application on for two hours then wash off with GlyDerm Gentle Face Cleanser. Wait 24 hours. If no irritation occurs, patient may use the product as directed. For back acne: Spray directly onto back once a day or as needed. Allow to dry before dressing. Should excessive dryness or exfoliation occur, reduce application to enhance tolerance.
Note: If patients using Face Solution Plus 12 experience irritation, suggest alternating between Solution 10 and Solution 12 until desired results and comfort levels are achieved.

I did feel a tingling sensation when I tried this product, but I'm not sure if that was the 12% Glycolic Acid or the Alcohol--which is the primary ingredient. It's unfortunate that GlyDerm didn't use witch hazel or distilled water as their primary ingredient. I've always been advised by dermatologists and aestheticians that alcohol is overly drying and will cause the skin to overly produce oil in response. Also, alcohol in no way adds to the effectiveness of the glycolic acid.

That being said, Ive found this product to be quite effective with my oily, hormonal acne adult skin. It is drying, so you may need to start with every other day and then progress to daily. It has noticeably reduced the hyper pigmentation from prior acne.

If you are using other gyl. products, I would recommend using sparingly, or substituting this product for the others. The price is reasonable and it will last a pretty long time. I have just starting using it, but so far I have not noticed any irration, IT does dry out the skin a bit, so I would use a mouisterizer in addition to this great product. Thanks
