Prior to treatment, test your HairMax for sensitivity (see page 5 of the User Manual). Your HairMax should be used for as little as three minutes, three times per week. The treatments should be spaced out every other day (for example, Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
Your HairMax will be used in six positions on your scalp. Leave it in place for a minimum of 30 seconds for each position. It will vibrate every 30 seconds to let you know when to move it to the next position. To start your treatment, press and hold the power button until the red lasers turn on. Next, place it on your frontal hairline. This is position one. When you feel the vibration, slide it backward about two inches (5 cm) to position two. Leave it in position two until you feel the vibration again.
Note: HairMax laser devices can be used on all hair colors. We do, however, recommend that you wait for 2–3 days after any hair coloring process prior to using the device.
