This sunscreen really is the worst. It pills very easily. After some trial and error, I found out that it spreads better if your moisturizer is still damp and hasn’t fully absorbed yet. It rubs in fairly easily, but as soon as you see no more white tint, STOP, or it will pill. During the day, if you think you might have a piece of dry skin, do not try to rub it off. It is the sunscreen pilling. As soon as you rub that first piece, anything that you touch around it will pill and you’ll be left with gross sunscreen flakes all over your shirt. I’ve been trying to find ways in which it stays on and doesn’t pill, because I can’t return it. If it does happen to stay on without pilling, your skin will feel oily by the afternoon. At this point, it’s going in the trash because it’s unusable. I wish I would not have strayed from my tried and true mineral sunscreen. Seriously, just don’t do it. You’ll be sorry you bought it.

I love this sunscreen. I am allergic to coconut and it is near impossible to find products without capryc triglyceride. This is it! It does not make my oily skin oilier and it looks beautiful under liquid or powder foundation. I also like that there is no white cast or tint that changes my complexion. It does not transfer on my clothing either. Love it!!!!

I have tried so, so many mineral-only sunscreens in search of that elusive one that will make it to HG status. I LOVE this sunscreen! It is soft, silky, utterly weightless; it dries down efficiently to a natural matte but is never drying on my aging, dehydrated skin. It is truly invisible on my Fitzpatrick 1-2 skin tone, a feat which many so-called invisible mineral sunscreens have failed to achieve. And after having worn it daily for about 10 days now, I can attest that it is extremely gentle and non-irritating (my skin is so sensitive it gets angry if you look at it the wrong way, so this is a HUGE factor for me). I’ve tried other sunscreens in the past that I’ve rated highly, only to later decide that they were too white cast-y, too emollient, too drying, whatever. I hadn’t found this one yet. This is definitely worth giving a try, especially for sensitive types. I’ve already purchased a backup.

I have sensitive skin, and I have prognosticated with pre-cancer, which means that I can't be in the sun for more than 30 minutes, but I could say after I am using HydroPeptide Solar Defense Non-Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF 50 I don't feel any itching or pain in my face. I stay longer than 30 minutes sometimes 2 hours because my job. I highly recommend this product for anyone. Really thankful to wear it.

I love this brand in general and use several of their products. I have very sensitive skin and I can’t wear the majority of sunscreens on the market, especially on my face. It’s not heavy or greasy but it doesn’t control oil if you are looking for something does. But it’s a great sunscreen that feels good on my face and I can put makeup over it without having issues with the makeup not going on correctly. I use this on my kids and my athletic teenaged son who is outside a lot and has oily skin likes it too (he uses an oil-controlling lotion/serum first). I live in Houston so sunscreen is a must and I’ve tried dozens of brands. This is my favorite facial sunscreen by far.
