It's a sponge

I've never gotten much of the hang of sponge application and don't see much of a difference in the application quality. I do notice that the sponge uses twice the amount of my KGD aqua foundation than my fingers do. Takes longer. Is something else I have to keep clean. I've tried spritzing sponge with the toner mist, then adding foundation, as suggested and really just end up pushing product over my skin with less accuracy than my fingers. Would probably use sparingly in delicate areas or when I'm trying to complete a more formal face for a night out. Not worth using up that much of an already expensive foundation.
