I have been using the Cicaplast balm for about 8 yrs., but a dermatologist on youtube was using this one around her eyes and really liked the results. It is nice and light for those who may not have skin as dry as mine, but I didn't feel it was hydrating enough. I do live in a very dry climate, so I made sure to layer it over more hydrating creams, as glycerin can draw moisture from the skin if not enough in the air. I also used this as spot treatment on forehead lines and around mouth but am just not sold on it...I need the thicker cream of the balm, but would recommend this for those with oily skin, or who live in humid climate and cannot wear thick occlusives.
