So far, so good for complexion issues

I love the B5 and Vitamin C serums by this brand and thought I'd try this one since I've had some issues with breakouts lately. This definitely has a bit of a clinical smell, but that evaporates quickly. It is good, and probably best, for complexions that do have more chronic breakouts. I would stick with the B5 or Vitamin C serums for more anti-aging skin benefits.

I really like this product because of it's consistency--it is a clear liquid that, with a drop of water added, it goes on and immediately soaks into your skin. Clear skin finally!

I decided to bite the bullet and spend some real money on my skin. I ordered the Effaclar Serum from La Roche Posay. I am now on my second bottle. I am 62 years old and this is the FIRST time since I was 13 that I have had consistently clear skin. I LOVE this product. For the first few days my skin would feel very tight after I applied the serum, but my skin adjusted quickly. I would recommend this to anyone with breakouts. I have not had any breakouts since about a week after I started using it. I have been applying it once a day for about 6 weeks.

Good serum

I like this serum as it is gentle on my skin. I think it is too soon to see if it delivers what promised. So far so good though. I have sensitive reactive combo skin and do not need a moisturizer in the summer months other than sunscreen when in the sun. I will use a gentle moisturizer in the winter if I’m still using it as it lightly moisturizes. This is perfect if you have combo or oily skin. It’s just enough. If you have very dry skin, I would add a moisturizer.
