I have been using the Micellar Water for a few years to take all my makeup off including eye makeup. I use a cotton pad with some Micellar Water on it and it wipes right off. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin at all. I used to use expensive department store named brands to remove makeup and Micellar Water works much better for a much lower price! Even though I know I should, I don't always wash my face to take off my makeup and do my whole nighttime routine. I use two cotton pads of this - first one gets the base layer off, second one cleanses. I don't ever struggle with breakouts or anything. Doesn't leave my skin dry either. It dissolves Jane Iredale makeup perfectly and always leaves me feeling fresh and clean (even though I didn't do my full night routine). I find it even gentle around my eyes.
