I have reactive, aging skin that's on the oily side, despite my menopausal age. Sometimes I get redness and itching after using my other skincare products -- but this wonderful spray calms everything down and seems to cut down sebum production. When I get a flare-up of dermatitis or irritated skin, I use this Serozinc spray throughout the day, and my skin quickly heals and gets back to normal. I start out using this after cleansing in the morning, and also at night. After it dries, I apply other products. This product WORKS! My skin has been so oily and pores clogged from being pregnant. I searched for safe solutions and found this product. At first, I tried to use it as a finishing spray and it was a little too irritating for me. So instead, I started spraying this on a cotton pad mixed with my pure salicylic toner. Weirdly it works! I’ve been reading about the benefits of zinc, and saw a recommendation for this mist. I love a mist post cleansing to reset pH of skin, and make moisturizer easier to apply. This has been great for that, and I’ve noticed less redness on my sensitive chin. I also have used a few times on my chin post medical mask wearing, as sometimes I feel sticky (I prefer not to use wipes and can’t always just wash my face).

I happily use both thermal water sprays and this one, which has the addition of zinc sulfate and NaCl. I'm fairly oily, so I don't notice any mattifying effect, but I still enjoy using this to calm down irritated skin or to spread out topicals and help them absorb. I don't think this is just for oily skin, though - anyone who likes thermal water sprays would like this, too!

I've never used a spray-on toner before, and I will say that it's been an enjoyable method. I like the aspect of letting it sit for a while, and then pat-drying. It's just something different, and it feels light and airy on my face. Moreover, it doesn't burn at all, which I've experienced from other toners. I did read from other reviews that this helps with oily skin, which was the chief reason that I bought it. Unfortunately, I can't say that I really noticed a difference after using this whole bottle. My skin was still oily after I put my moisturizer on, which leads me to believe that it's a joint effort between the right toner and the right moisturizer to really mitigate oil. With that being said, I'd probably give this another try with another moisturizer (like a matte-finish one) to see if they work well in tandem for my oily skin.
