Drying and buildup

I bought the Healing Curls Butter Shampoo and Conditioner since I have fine, curly hair and absolutely love L'ANZA Clarifying Shampoo and the leave-in conditioner in the red bottle. It may work for some people, but my fine hair requires some amount of de-tangler in the conditioner, and I also did not like that the shampoo does not lather and felt like it left a residue. I used it for 3 or 4 consecutive washes over the period of several days, and my hair seemed to get worse with each wash (more tangled, more dry-feeling), so I have decided to stop using these products. Unfortunately it looks like I waited to long to return.

strong fragrance

I was so excited to see Lanza's curly hair line and bought several of the products in the line. I have used Lanza products for years and love them. I was so disappointed when I received them and tried to use them. The fragrance is so strong! My hair looked great when I used it, but I can't get past the fragrance. So disappointing.

I would have given it 5 stars --- miss feeling some lather....and a bit too expensive for such a small amount of product. That said, it's very moisturizing and leaves my hair feeling great.. I will probably repurchase or try to find it at a discount.

It’s an excellent shampoo for dry curly hair. Excellent. Low sudsing, moisturizing and with the leave in conditioner, well…just the best that I have found. I also use their oil for ongoing moisture.
