I was a little skeptical of this product given it separates in the bottle. Don’t be deterred. A few shakes & this leave in conditioner turns into a nice, milky spray. I do not spray it onto my hair though, as it is a little thick. Instead, I spray it into my hand & then run it through my ends. It doesn’t weigh down my super fine strands or make my hair look dirty, which is a biggie for us limp locks gals.

The first thing you should know about this product is that is is highly fragranced. It smells like big white flowers, Ave it stays in the hair until you wash it out. At first I was afraid I would have to return it - I’m pretty sensible to scents, and florals are not my thing. However, I’ve started to really like what this product does for my hair, which makes the perfume less offensive for me. I have very tine gair that gets gunked up easily, so I only use this on wet hair before heat styling. I spray it into my palms instead of directly on hair, then massage it in to the lengths. It strikes me as more of a lightweight leave-in conditioner than a styling product. It is not moisturizing enough to replace regular rinse-out conditioner, which is fine by me. And I’m not sure I’m sold on it being a reliable heat protectant. However, I am keeping it and will use it on days when the fragrance doesn’t irk me.

I normally dislike floral fragrances, but I am absolutely OBSSESSED with Lait's scent; hyper realistic gardenia-ish flower with the verdant tang of the green leaves. I wish Leonor Greyl came out with a fragrance or candle with this insanely gorgeous scent.
