Can't tell if it's doing anything

This toner is gentle enough it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. But, I'm on the fence whether I really need to use toner. The cotton balls have a little beige color on them after use, and I don't use foundation, so I guess it is removing dirt from my face?

Excellent toner with glycolic and lactic acid

I used to use some pricy toners and found they either had too much alcohol (a no no for skin) or they didn't have anything that really did something for the skin ( a bunch of nice sounding things) If you are using a toner that doesn't have an exfoliator you are missing out. I like LovelySkin toner because it has both glycolic and lactic acid, which helps keep one's skin decongested and pores clean. Old skin needs to get sloughed off, but you don't want anything too harsh, but you also don't want it to be so low you are wasting your money. Also, check the label each time because sometimes these toners are apt to change. Right now, this is one I am using and have purchased a second time. A toner is part of a regimen, and has a place among your cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer. I also use tretinoin as it is the best to regenerate. LovelySkin toner is the exfoliator (along with using crystal beads once a week). You can tell if this works for you by how your skin looks.

Pleasantly Surprised

I really like that LovelySkin publishes the concentration % of the active ingredients in their toners, which really helped me make my purchasing decision. I’ve enjoyed the pump top, which I haven’t seen on too many toners. There is a nice light eucalyptus scent as well, which seems quite comparable to the Skinceuticals Conditioning Toner, but costs quite a bit less!

This toner seems to brighten and clarify skin without being harsh at all. I use it only at night and am sure to use sunscreen the following day. It works well under serum and moisturizer. The picture shows a pump bottle; however, mine is a regular bottle with a cap.

Finally!!!

I have been through so many products trying to find anything with glycolic acid that I could use on my aging dry and super sensitive skin. Unbelievably this contains glycolic and salicylic acid and I can use without a reaction!!!! It does tingle after I use it at night, but that goes away. This is slowly helping my skin. I love it!!

Brighter complexion

I've only been using this for a few days now, but already persons are commenting on how bright my face looks. I've been using the lipids drops for sometime with great results, but I was recently told I needed something for my large pores. I must admit I was a little nervous to try this because of the salicylic acid as I used another product with it years ago that burned my skin. As a result, I thought I was sensitive to it and have been avoiding it like the plague. Thankfully I read the reviews on this and most persons said how gentle it was. New Favorite Toner!! Surprisingly Gentle!!

I purchased this for my daughter and myself to try, as I’ve heard so many good things about glycolic acid. I felt we both needed it for combined issues of congestion, more exfoliation for me and acne breakouts in the T-Zone for her. I was worried that my more sensitive skin from Retinols would not tolerate it well, but I was so wrong! It’s so gentle and feels great! Our skin, especially hers, now has a glow! I will be purchasing a bottle for my own bathroom. This is working far better for her acne than the Clenziderm with just the 2% salicylic acid. It’s also working better for me than my past favorite from the same line. I don’t have any issues using it under my Vitamin C in the a.m. and 30 min before my Retinol at night. Probably due to the proper ph in this product and the soothing properties. No tightness or dryness for either of us. She is also using Obagi Retinol at night which is gentle and 10% benzoyl in the a.m. and her skin has never looked better with this addition. I think my own skin was getting congested from dead skin cells, turnover from the retinol. Face scrubs a few times a week were not enough, only inflaming my skin. This product is keeping the old skin cleared away. Thank you, LovelySkin!!
