Lately I've been battling super dry & irritated skin on and around my lips. Only a couple of the dozen lip products I have gotten in the past few months could I use without my skin over reacting. My lips were not improving. I've only been using this product a few days, but I noticed my skin is happier and starting to return to normal. I'm sure you could apply a thin coat of this, but for treatment I have been using a heavy coat. So much better than any petroleum or alternative petroleum jelly. This Marula Nourishing Lip Oil Treatment is a wonderful product. It is a thick oily product that does sink in eventually. Absolutely zero skin reaction. Great design makes application easy & no leakage from the snap on cap. This has no scent & I will take it with me when I go camping in bear country in a couple weeks.
