The sun shield worked really well protecting my skin from the sun. I did not notice any sun at all on my face. What I didn't care for was the waxy feel of the product. I felt like an actual shield was on my face, and my skin couldn't breathe. My skin did not break out at all, but I didn't love the way it felt on my face.
