After cleansing, smooth 2-3 pumps onto dry face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip area. Gentle enough for daily use, stop using if any irritation occurs.
Oily Skin: Wear alone for light hydration.
Normal-Dry Skin: Follow with a layer of your favorite moisturizer.
Pairs perfectly with the use of retinol, Vitamin C and Accutane.
When pairing with retinol: Night time use is recommended, 5 minutes after applying your retinol follow up with Lactic Acid. For a plumper, dewier complexion, continue using Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum after retinol every other night.
When pairing with Vitamin C: Morning use is recommended, 5 min after applying Vitamin C follow up with Lactic Acid. After products have been absorbed into the skin, follow with SPF.
We only recommend using multiple active serums to those who have experience using multiple acids at a time. If this is your first time using an acid-based serum, we recommend sticking to just one for 6 months before adding a new one to your regimen.

This is my second time purchasing this, however, I can't say I am wowed by it just yet or love how it feels on the skin. I personally find it to be sticky on my face which does not feel great. I''ve tried using less of the product and do not find that it helps with the sticky texture. I think perhaps I am seeing the positive effects of it in the glass skin look but I'm not floored by it- perhaps I need more time. One bottle lasted me about 3.5 months so while this is a bit more expensive of a product than your standard pharmacy product I feel okay about it. I am using this as a recommendation for a retinoid substitute as we are trying to get pregnant.

This is a must-have in my routine. I've tried a different lactic acid brand, but this one delivers the best results and my skin agrees with, while the other brand (though less expensive) caused a bit of an irritation. I only wish this were more affordable as the price inflated more than expected in the last 2 years, why such a steep increase?

I bought this serum to use in conjunction with the Red Carpet Facial in a Box kit, and like the kit, the serum is WONDERFUL! I use them both at night and awake with delightfully smooth, hydrated and glowing skin! They are wonderful, and I can’t imagine going without either! Neither is cheap, but they are certainly worth it - especially for a 54 yo who is trying to age gracefully!
