This Osmosis pigment-fading serum lightens skin and diminishes the appearance of age spots. We only recommend this product to be used to spot treat during the initial phases of our hyperpigmentation protocol. The formula contains no hydroquinone or other toxic ingredients; however, overall facial use exposes skin to damaging UV rays (as all skin lighteners do) so we strongly recommend spot treating.

I definitely see a difference but its not like the hyperpigmentation is gone. I have used various products and decided to try this line because it is the safer alternative. This particular product does not appear in the EWG list but others from the brand have relatively low scores. All the products for hyperpigmentation I have seen out there specify application for more than six months so I am giving it time to do its thing. My hyperpigmentation is less noticeable since I have been using this product but of course I want it to be gone forever!!!! I think this product is working for me. The hyperpigmentation I am trying to eliminate connects the corners of my lips to my smile lines and is more black/grey (not just a darker shade of my cinnamon colored skin). Other spots on my cheeks (that are a darker shade of my regular skin tone) that I don't really care about are practically gone and my skin looks pretty good.
