Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
Sensitivity Test: For a new user, apply product sparingly to one or two small affected areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, follow the directions stated above.

I rarely break out but decided to grab this product for the occasional problem and so far it just doesn’t seem to work for me. I could not see any difference whether I used it or not. I was expecting the product to help resolve acne spots faster but it does not. Perhaps not the right product for me.

This product works very well w/ me. I’m older, have combination skin and the occasional annoying acne spot randomly here or there on my face. If I catch the acne spot early when it’s still under the skin and use this product it will take care of it either overnight or by the next before it has a chance to be noticeable to others. It takes a little longer if I don’t catch it right away and it comes to the surface. But still a briefer time than any other product I’ve used in the past. The only downside to this product is it has a short expiration date.

I have been very pleased with this gel. As a mature adult with acne-prone and sensitive skin, I've tried numerous products, including those from a major brand recommended by dermatologists, and my breakouts were getting worse instead of better. I switched cold turkey to salicylic acid and after about six weeks my skin looks better than it has in years. I use this gel on the T-zone, morning and night, and Vichy Normaderm Phytoaction acne control daily moisturizer on the rest of my face. Both products have 2% salicylic acid. I've experienced no over-drying but on the plus side, overall oiliness has decreased. I follow up with a sunscreen from a different brand.

I've used this a couple times as directed, and have never experienced a significant change in my blemishes. This product also tends to create a piling effect, and doesn't really seem to soak into the blemish -- if anything it just sets on top of it and crumbles as it dries. Overall, this product doesn't seem to heal or exacerbate my skin issues, but it's definitely a pass for me.

I have mature skin but still get pimples. Most spot treatments are too drying and sometimes even burn my skin. This product works really well and does not over dry. Often if I catch the blemish early enough, it goes away overnight. I don't know what makes this 2% salicylic acid formula different from the others but it works for me.

I acquired adult acme break outs starting last January. Went to my dermatologist and was given a topical. It worked a little Called her again like in October and I got another topical. Worked a little. I decided to research my self and found Perrconi MD. It worked great I use it twice a day if I see a beginning of a break out and BOOM it is gone. Then to once a day. FYI. I am 69. So an acne breakout is not acceptable. Try it.

I applied it twice a day - didn't have any drying of the skin or irritation from it and I have sensitive skin.
