My hair is medium length and thick with a mix of textures. I wouldn’t reach for a ‘thickening’ shampoo, but I tried a sample and I liked it. It has a fresh but non-overwhelming scent I like. It cleans well and doesn’t weigh my hair down the way many ‘natural’ hair products do. When I style my hair later with a blow-drying brush, it straightens really well and looks shiny, nice. While shampooing, there is not a lot of slip and your hair gets tangly. Using a conditioner with this shampoo seems essential for that reason. Sorry I can’t comment on the thickening aspect of this product. I do like the end result, several steps up from the drugstore brands I typically use. My hair is naturally very dry, and remains on the dry side after using this product.

I received a sample of this shampoo and the conditioner and fell in love with them both. Because of the cost of them I purchased them separately. When I received the shampoo and used it it was totally different than the sample. It had very little lather and I had to use twice for my hair to even feel a little bit clean. Don't waste your hard earned money on this product! Just stick with the drug store brands...

Bought this shampoo solely because it is LovelySkin staff favorite product. Pros: little goes a long way, cleans greasy hair really well and makes the hair feel very soft. Cons: I am not sure if it helped with decreasing hair fall or improving hair growth. Will continue to use longer and see if things change.
