This spray, while definitely beefing up hair strands, can cause tresses to look somewhat dry. Also, on my hair, too much spray can cause it to feel "gummy." That said, it does add noticeable volume. I have found just one to three spritzes to be totally sufficient for my fine, straight hair.

This is a great line. The spray leaves your hair soft, not stiff. I definitely think my hair is better protected when blow-drying. I haven't noticed a considerable amount of thickening effect, but right now it is so cold and dry out that it's hard to know if any product would really work to its full potential...no pun intended.

I cannot believe the poor performance of this pricey product. It is sold as a root volumizer and it should be sold as a straightener/deflater. My fine somewhat thick hair has more volume without any product at all! I am dissappointed and do not recommed it for thin hair. It will be donated b/c I cannot use it.

Probably my favorite Rene Furterer product. It gives the hair a light condition with extra body and volume. I use it on towel dried hair and then use a styling gel. This process gives a fine hair much more texture.
