I got a full sized sample of this, I've been pleasantly surprised by it. When I used it randomly here or there, I didn't notice a difference. However, I've recently been using it everyday for several weeks and I feel like my face has taken to it. I naturally have a reddish tint to my skin - I have some freckles and red in my hair. I feel like it calms the redness down a bit when things can get irritated, I also think it hydrates my skin and helps my other products go on smoother. Is it a must have? I don't think so. I've been using this serum from Replenix for over a decade now. The price is crazy (and keeps going up), but the results make it worth it. I always wait for a big sale to stock up. I am prone to Seborrheic dermatitis and discovered this product through a dermatologist's blog posts on effective SD treatments. I tried everything with my local dermatologists, but they only wanted to prescribe anti-fungal creams and washes, which never worked long term and only made things worse because the yeast builds a tolerance to them. Focusing, instead, on reducing inflammation and keeping my skin calm has made a huge difference - that lasts. Before I stared the product my skin was quite ruddy. People used to ask me if I tanned my face, or had a sunburn all the time. This has calmed it down beautifully. I do not wear foundation anymore. I used this serum on my partner when he experienced a mild sunburn and this gave him a lot relief when layered beneath a light moisturizer. When used in in combination with azelaic acid cream and mandelic acid facial wash, I don't experience ANY facial redness anymore. My skin barrier is a lot more resilient and clear.
