I wouldn't say I noticed much of an improvement since using the shampoo, it does an incredible job cleansing the scalp but it used to dried my hair so I started to use it just once per wash and then my regular shampoo. Had to switch because I dyed my hair and it was taking the colour very quickly.

I kept suffering from periodic hair fall until I found the ReTress system, and every time I try to use a different shampoo/conditioner (usually for cost considerations), the problem recurs. For maintenance, I generally only use the shampoo and conditioner, and my hair does fine; if I seem to be experiencing greater hair loss than normal, I simply add the serum back into my routine until the problem resolves and then taper it off. FYI, I am in my early 40's and do not have any medical diagnosis (hypothyroidism, etc.) that would cause hair loss, so I can not speak to how well it would work in that situation.
