This serum was recommended by Dr. Aherene Idris, aka Pillow Talk Dermatologist. It has a lovely green-blue color with a very faint scent that you get used to and don't notice after a few weeks. It has niacinamide which is the wonder ingredient for anti-aging. I think it is helping with my melasma but it's hard to tell. Most products I use claim amazing benefits which I have a difficult time seeing noticeable improvement but I use them religiously because the experts say it will help. As for a niacinamide serum, this one is lovely since it doesn't pill, doesn't feel sticky or tacky and doesn't irritate my skin. However, it is a bit pricey especially when you compare it to The Ordinary or The Inkey List. I guess everything is helping since I am 57 and most people say I look young for my age.

Glow up formula!
The first couple of times I used this product, it broke me out a little-- just a little spot irritation (which I half expected, because a different serum tore up my face). BUT, this serum also made my face look like it was glowing from the inside. So I decided to just start with using it every 3 days or so and see if my skin would tolerate it, which it did. I am now using it every other morning, which is just enough for my skin to feel the effects but not break out at all. I have received a ton of compliments on my skin from family and friends recently-- one skincare-obsessed family member asked what I had done to my face to make me look so young (after only seeing me a month earlier!) when the only two changes were adding this serum and one from a different brand. If you can tolerate niacinamide at all, I highly recommend this serum-- it does so much more than that.

Great addition to my skin regimen. I apply this at night before to my retinoid and moisturizer to achieve the "sandwich" method. The scent may be less desirable to many but it doesn't bother me. The scent does dissipate quickly. As for the consistency, it is a little bit sticky during the initial application but it is absorbed rather quickly by your skin. Overall, i have noticed a marked difference in my skin texture and brightness of my complexion. Give it a try!
