The biggest question that comes up with Augustinus Bader all the time is "is it worth it?" That's a subjective question, and one that's impossible to answer. All I know is that I've now gone through 5 bottles of AB's various creams and I'm a believer. My skin loves this stuff. I'm on the oilier side and I use The Rich Cream at night only during the winter and it's a game changer.

Love this moisturizer
During the winter, I alternate between this product and The Cream during the day, depending on how dry my skin gets. During the summer, I only use this at night on top of my serum. It is definitely emollient, but not greasy, which I appreciate.

Has helped my skin significantly
I’m 65 years old my skin out of the blue I developed dry areas on my face. I received a sample of this cream. I tried it I saw immediate results so I purchased a larger one . I started applying it morning and night. I no longer have the dry areas and my skin feels smooth. I do my neck and chest as well. It has a pleasant smell if any the cream is emollient not heavy like Vaseline but it is thicker than a lotion. It doesn’t sit on the skin it gets absorbed and my skin just feels wonderful. I will continue using it. I have a backup when a it’s on sale. I say give a try if you have dry skin and nothing else seems to help.

I love this Rich Cream. I am fascinated how Augustinus Bader a medical doctor and scientist created and developed a cream to heal severe burn injuries. Rich cream is extremely intensely hydrating and penetrates quickly into my skin. My skin feels nourished, firmer, brighter, plumper, glowing. My skin is mature, Rich Cream is perfect for cold, dry winter climates. I am impressed with the beautiful packaging of the blue pump container. This exquisite product is well worth the price. A Must Have in my Daytime Skincare Routine
Think it’s been at least two years that I’ve been using Bader Rich Cream, which was before it was a LovelySkin product. So first, I must give a generous thumbs up to LovelySkin for bringing on this product offering shopping convenience at a great price point with my membership. Plus, I trust LovelySkin to guarantee the freshness of its products. The Bader Rich Cream is one of my must-haves. The first week I used it I noticed a difference in my skin - brighter and a bit of a lift, as well as helping with pigment spots. And likewise, I notice a duller complexion once I stop using it, even for a few weeks. My preference is to use it only in the morning for all the benefits I’ve mentioned. That said, I don’t find it my preference for nighttime moisturizing, as I need something more heavy duty in that regard. So as my daytime skin treatment, it’s a must have!

Good moisturizer, probably not worth the price
I actually really like this moisturizer and I’ve purchased it several times— so when I say it’s not worth the price I’m not specifically saying you shouldn’t buy it- however, I think there are other moisturizers at lower price points that would be just as good as this one. I haven’t noticed any miracles from this cream but my skin looks better when I’m using than when I’m not. It hydrates well for most seasons, although in the winter time I layer an oil or balm over this. I will probably continue to repurchase but if you’re looking for a splurge that is holy grail status *worth it*, maybe this isn’t it.

Very disappointing
I purchased this after much thought due to the expense. I am glad that I tried the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. This cream feels anything but rich on the face. It is the most drying face cream that I have tried. After applying overnight I wake up with a very dry face instead of hydrated. Any of my other go to brands are much more effective and feel much more soothing and effective for my face. I would not recommend this particular Augustinus Bader product. I personally will go back to using my tried and true products now that my curiosity has been assuaged.
