Gentle and Effective
I discovered this moisturizer as it was recommended by a dermatologist for restoring the skin barrier. I have very sensitive, mature, and combination skin It gets extremely dry and flakey when I use retinol/retinoids, as well as in the winter cold. This is gentle, and overall, it feels good on. It does not clog pores, or cause breakouts, and does not interfere with the application of other skin care products and/or makeup layered on top. As many others mentioned, the scent is pleasant, but a bit strong upon application. The fragrance is, however, unnoticeable in just a short period of time following the initial application. Depending upon how dry or irritated my skin is (very sore nose and underneath the nose area during allergy season) it can slightly sting a bit and I believe that may be due to whatever is used for the fragrance. It is a very effective moisturizer, and when I faithfully apply it before the retionoid/retinol treatment, I don't experience the dryness.

Good for sensitive skin
My skin is overly reactive and I have rosacea, so I have to be very careful to use only gentle skin formulas. The consistency is more lotion than cream, almost no scent, does not pill under my tinted sunscreen and, most importantly, does not flare up my rosacea. It does, however, leave a slight sheen for a while. I have mature skin, so I don't know how this would behave with oily skin. Might be ok for winter. Have only used this for a week or two, but so far, so good. It provides light moisture, but does not seem to improve fine lines or wrinkles. So, if you're looking for a basic moisturizer that does not clog pores or cause irritation, this may be for you.
