Nice but stays oily (better for nighttime)
I have been using the Avene Trixera Nutrition Nutri-Fluid Balm for a few weeks now. It is thin/fluid-like, easy to spread, but unfortunately stays oily on my skin, never fully absorbing. I will keep using as an all-over moisturizer a couple nights a week as I do like to have a few different lotions with varying ingredients to rotate in my quest to restore my skin barrier after too much exfoliation and as I seem to have developed more sensitivity lately. Overall I really love the Avene brand, *especially* the Xeracalm oil cleanser (although I have not yet tried the newly formulated version), the thermal water spray, the RetrinAL 0.05, and the liquid tinted mineral sunscreen.

Great Product for dry skin
This is a great product for dry skin, however, I have rosacea and my skin is very very dry and very very sensitive on my face and neck. I bought the larger size and I am able to use it on my body where I have spots of rosacea and it works fine. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Must apply twice daily
This is an excellent product if applied after bathing while skin is still slightly moist. However, I find that within twelve hours I need to reapply to keep the moisture level up so that my skin does not start to flake. I do not like heavy creams on my skin so this works well. Just have to reapply to keep the results that I want.

Nice Versatile Lotion
I am a lotion fanatic because I not only have dry skin but I live in a very dry climate (high dessert). I ordered this because I like the Avene products for their quality and the fact that they do NOT test on animals. I am pleased with this lotion and I like the mild natural smell of it (not at all perfume-y) but it is not quite as thick as I would like ...but then again they do reveal that in the name. It is definitely more fluid and less balm, but still gives nice hydration that feels and smells natural. It absorbs quickly and my skin feels soft and hydrated.

I ordered Avene Trixera because I am undergoing radiation therapy following a breast cancer diagnosis and surgery. I was looking for something that would nourish and sooth my skin. I have completed 25 "whole breast" treatments and am currently having my 5 "boost" treatments in the area where the cancer was located. My doctor reviewed the ingredients in the Trixera and said I could use it anywhere outside the oval they drew around where the boost treatments are being given. I only have three treatments left. Afterward, I imagine she will probably say I can use it inside the oval as well. I like it because it applies easily, has a pleasant smell (even though it is unscented), feels soothing and is not sticky or greasy.

I've used the Trixera Selectose for years. This is what they replaced it with. It's a nice cream but very liquidy. Still a good product, just not as good as the original.
