Thick callouses might need more than one treatment
My feet have always had thick callouses on the soles and pads. I moved to the desert five years ago and my feet dried put even more. This was the only product that even made a dent in the callouses and renewed the rest of the skin. The plastic boots made it difficult to concentrate the product where I wanted it, but it did work. My feet peeled days later. I kept socks on during this time. I'm about to purchase my second mask now. Great product.

Peeling depends on lots of factors
If you’re hoping for crazy peeling, I’d try the extra things other reviewers do like soaking feet before you put booties on, leaving the booties on longer and also soaking feet daily for the next two weeks. I had mild peeling/flaking but I know my heels are a lot softer and overall better skin tone everywhere on my feet. I’ll plan to do this quarterly and hope it keeps my feet soft year round.
