I've always struggled with dark pores which led me to purchase the Clarisonic tool. While I like the deep clean cleaner, I felt the mud was difficult and extremely messy to use with limited impact and have since switched to using the Men's Cleansing product (also from Clarisonic), and I'm finding better results.
