I have a skin type that varies from oily to dry and is always sensitive. the clarisonic is great because you can effectively clean your skin in under a minute. any cleanser works great with a Clarisonic. I also love the cashmere brush head for the mias--super soft and great for sensitive skin. a huge bonus to this item is that its charged quickly and one battery charge can last me for months. Both my mother and I have our own Mia and we have different skin types. Id recommend this to anyone/any skin type.

I bought the Mia a couple of months ago, and I have to say I am pleased with the purchase. My acne has cleared up (I use it with a benzoyl peroxide cream cleanser) and although Im not really sure if my skin feels smoother, it definitely doesnt look dull anymore. I use it once a day at nighttime (Ive noticed my face gets red in the afternoon after using it in the morning--it seems using it in the morning may be making my skin more sensitive to sunlight or perhaps twice a day is too much for my sensitive skin--thus, I stick with only using it before bed). The system is easy to use and I like that it has a built-in 1 minute timer. The only downside is that the brush head needs to be replaced every few months. However, overall I would recommend it.

Before I purchased the Clarisonic, I purchased a similar inexpensive product to try out this method of cleaning so that I would know if I liked using an electronic system. I did like using the electronic brush, so I decided to purchase the clarisonic. The brush is much softer, sturdier and more dense than the original purchase. I really like it. My skin feels very soft after using it.
