Very surprised at all the good reviews; usually love Colorscience products but this was a hard pass. I am quite fair and the “fair” shade was so pasty, my daughter asked me why my face was so white :/ the next shade up looks way too orange. They are missing an in-between shade. The consistency was too thick and dry also. I prefer their Sunforgettable formula much more

I watched a lot of review videos before purchasing and unfortunately, I didn’t share the same love for the product. I have relatively light skin but this formula was just too light for me. I also hated how it sat on top of the skin. I’ve used other mineral formulas that still sunk in a little bit, but this did not.

This product clogs my pores.
I tried this sunscreen for several days. It just clog my pores. You wear through the day, and then reapply it in two hours You end up with bumps on cheeks, chin , and forehead. I was loving this product until I started to see the bumps on my face.Unfortunately, I have to stop it. Its very creamy and smooth the product . I would not recommend anyone who has acne prone.

Disappointed in color range
The color range for brand is not best . They need to expand the color range . It’s very fair to almost yellow when you try the medium. It’s actually more of a tan. Also caused bumps on face. Cannot recommend for sensitive skin.

I wish I liked this so badly but Im so disappointed. I have oily/combo skin that’s also slightly dehydrated so I’ll admit, my skin is troublesome with its dry patches and oily areas but I thought this would still work because it’s a glowy/hydrating formula. Unfortunately I have never used a face product or sunscreen that has clung to every single line, pore, dry patch, blemish, anything textured in general more than this product EVER. I’m 23 years old, I don’t have many wrinkles yet but when I put this product on, it ages my skin quite literally 30+ years, my boyfriend even commented about how dry, wrinkled and crusty my face looked (in the nicest way possible). It’s actually so bizarre because it’s glowy but the glow sits on top of the crusty, dry texture it gives you. I can’t even use it on my neck because it makes my neck look dry as well! The shade I got was the lightest option as well and still leans darker and too orange on me but I could have still made it work with a lighter shade of powder on top, I am a neutral fair skin tone for reference. I will still use this product on my arms and hands but I hate that it didn’t work for my face.

I prefer the regular sunshield by Colorescience
After reading about all the hype and the product launch about this brand new sunscreen from Colorescience, I decided to order it. Usually I use Colorescience face shield, the regular sunscreen they have had out for the last few years. The regular face shield has a much more watery consistency which I have grown to love. I found this new Flex version to be too thick for my face. I had to use 3x my normal amount to get it to spread across my face. I did not care for it and will not order it again. I will stick to the regular Colorescience faceshield sunscreen in regular color mixed with their glow and bronze.

Doesn't dry down, and it doesn't look matte
I had high hopes for this sunscreen, but it feels like diaper cream on my face, it doesn't dry down to layer makeup over it, the formula sticks to skin flakes, and it looks crazy around my hairline and eyebrows. I'll use it up, but I'm switching back to my other sunscreen.

Oily and chalky
This is the only sunscreen from Colorescience that I do not love. It is feels goopy thick on the skin and oily. I will keep using the Total Protection PA+++ and Total Protection Glow versions that I combine to get a match for my skin color (those make me look beautiful). This smudged and smeared on my eye glasses and cellphone and does not make me look beautiful. For reference I have very fair Asian skin and get compliments on my skin but I will not go out with this one on. I will not buy again.
