Reviews For CoTZ Sensitive Face & Body Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40
Effective sunscreen for a decent price
I am a 41-year-old female with fair skin and have been acne prone with sensitive skin since I was 14 years old. The challenge for me is finding high quality products that aren't super expensive. This particular brand of sunscreen does what it advertises. It has protected my face and neck from sunburn while not affecting my skin in a negative way.

Great for sensitive, acne-prone skin
My skin is prone to acne and melasma, so I have very specific criteria for Sun protection: mineral based; high percentage of zinc oxide; does not contain core clogging ingredients; and formulated for sensitive skin (no burning around eyes). This checked off all the boxes, which is a rarity! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it does leave a little bit of a white cast. It’s not terrible or a deal breaker for me, but it could definitely be a drawback on some skin tones. All in all, I highly recommend.

I like it
Nice sunscreen. A little bit thick to wear under makeup. Doesn’t cause irritation.

Greasy - Great for Dry Skin
I bought this and the tinted face version to compare. I tried this one first, thankfully on a day where I wouldn't have to go out. I would say I have normal / combo skin - not flaky dry, and not greasy at all. I applied moisturizer and waited about 30 minutes before applying this product. WOW greasy - it got better over time, but I'd say you probably need to wait at least another 30 minutes to apply any liquid foundation or concealer over this. If you have the luxury of time in the morning, this could be a great option. One pro - there is absolutely no white cast. This definitely feels like a mineral sunscreen (sits on the skin), but I am on tretinoin and chemical sunscreens really irritate my sensitive skin. In conclusion - if you are already somewhat oily, I would avoid this one. I will continue to use this, probably without moisturizer before and only when I am not trying to follow with makeup.

Perfect for body
Pros: - sensitive skin-friendly - reef-safe - gives you a nice glow from within look - perfect for body Cons: - some white cast -not for the face (I have dry skin, and even my dry skin turned into a slip and slide. I was blotting oil all day).

COTZ Sensitive SPF 40
I started using this sunblock a few weeks ago. It goes on easily and doesnt leave a white residue. I have really sensitive skin, and have not found it to be irritating in any way. I dont use it on my face, but would definitely recommend it as a "body" sunblock.

Cotz
Its a little thick for my liking. Mixing it with a little moisturizer will help with evenly spreading it on the skin. I like that it did not irritate my sensitive skin.

Thick
This stuff is thick but with some work you can blend it in and get really good coverage from the sun with out the white residue showing like some others. This stuff also works well in the water, although it appears to lift in water. So I usually wipe my face after swimming and then reapply. It also works well under my make-up.
