People complain about the smell, it's not that bad. There is a light ammonia smell, kind of like perm but it is not intense and quickly goes away after application. The results are slow. My doctor prescribed me hydroquinone and that was slow as well. I am not seeing dramatic results after a month of use on melasma. I'll continue with the regime and complete the second box to see if the results improve. As for how long the product last, first of all the instructions are bad and no instructions/FAQs telling how often or frequent to apply the product. Online forums will say use it twice daily, 1 pump Intensive, 2 pumps Neutralize and 1 pump boost. Here is what I learned from using this kit, 1 pump Intensive, 1 pump Neutralize and 2 pumps Boost. While using my first box per online forums, I ran out of Neutralize a few days after the Intensive ran out. I have about what felt like/weight a half bottle of Boost. I also used the product twice daily morning and night and one box lasted about a month.

A lot of money for nothing
I bought this in hopes it would help with both hyperpigmentation and melasma. It doesn’t work! For reference I have only a small/light amount of melasma near bottom of eye area. More hyperpigmentation on the rest of my face, which are also light and in spot form or patches. I’ve tried everything from professional peels, lasers, microdermabrasion and at home peels, serums, etc. Some of these helped just a little or not at all, so I was hoping this set would help, if not eliminate some of my spots. I’ve used this set faithfully for almost 2 months without absolutely no change at all. I took pictures before I started and pics today and zero difference! Here’s the thing…I realize a product or service needs time to work. I also realize these dark spots can be layers deep, hence products needing time. I’m also aware of sunscreen a faithfully apply a 50 SPF when I’m out, which is hardly. So, I’m not unreasonable when I say this set is garbage! The line literally smells of garbage too, like rotten eggs/sulfur, which stays on my face all day and my face towels. This set was astoundingly expensive for no results. I would have been happy with a 5% of lightening after months of using and would have kept buying despite smelling off a garbage fire all day. But yet again I’ve been duped into hundreds of dollars on one product.

Not a good choice
I've been using this system for 3 weeks. Nothing has changed. I am too old to wait months for minimal improvement, if any. The there is the unpleasant scent Intensive has. And then...Boost makes my skin feel as if I've been in the Mohave Desert a little too long.
