Exfoliating cleanser
I used the Dermalogica clay cleanser for many years and recently switched to this cleanser because the clay cleanser was discontinued. It cleanses my skin, but I don’t really notice any exfoliation. It does leave my skin feeling dry. However, my skin is sensitive and this does not irritate it.

Exfoliates gently but not completely
This cleanser is thick and very slightly gritty. It rinses clean and the exfoliation shows in that my skin is a bit flaky afterwards. Other exfoliants seem to leave my skin less flaky, but that may mean that they are not as gentle.

Pump is not so easy to use
Not sure if it's just the one I received or all of them are like this, but the pump is not so easy to use. It keeps twisting when I press it. The cleanser itself is good though. Hubby likes it!

Nice cleanser
This is a nice cleanser/exfoliator but just not for me. I prefer the superfoliant over this. I suffer from adult acne and any kind of blemish on my face is usually too raw and burns with the use of this cleanser. Anyone that has nice skin and just needs a genial chemical exfoliation would probably love this!

I have dry sensitive skin and this product is one that will allow me some of the age defying techniques w/out the dryness that most products have. The cleanser is creamy, and has a lovely smell. It does leave my skin noticeably tighter than a normal everyday cleanser, and so far quite "lovely".
