Great for dry sensitive skin
This was recommended to me a few years ago and I have been using it ever since. I need it all year and use it as a first layer to soothe dryness and irritation. In summer I add a moisturizer with sunblock. In winter I usually just add a moisturizer. I am 71 and have very fair skin that is easily irritated. This product calms irritation and adds a healthy glow to my skin. A little goes a long way!

My favorite

Light, Lavender scent
I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. Dermalogica Ultra Calming Serum is great for when my skin needs a very light summer serum and I want to take a break from my usual products. It has a light lavender scent so I can't use it often due to that.

Didn't like it
I purchased this along with the sensitive skin rescue kit because I have redness in my eyebrows that I cannot get rid of and because the reviews were good. Neither this kit nor this product helped my skin. Perhaps I don't have the same kind of sensitivity that others do who like it so well.
