Not So Foaming
This cleanser is more creamy than foaming. I was hoping it would be great for makeup removal but it doesn't really work great for that.

I love Elta MD, so I had high expectations for this foaming face wash. I was rather disappointed when I realized it doesn’t foam up. That aside, the product is nice and has a hair conditioner-type texture. It feels really hydrating without leaving the skin greasy.

So at first l did not think I was going to like this product because the consistency is nothing like the Obagi foaming cleanser that l typically use. However l was wanting to try something new to give my skin some “oomph”, and switch it up. This cleanser is very thick, which l didn’t like at first, but l figured out l didn’t have to pump a whole lot into my hand, and also mix it with lots of water. It doesn’t really foam up, more like a creamy lather. It really cleanses my skin, and what l really like is it cuts down the oiliness of my skin without drying it out. I am very oily. It is also gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I am getting use to it, and it should last a good while, since l don’t have to use a lot. l still use my foaming cleanser from a different brand, which l also purchase from this website.

I noticed when I started using this that my skin became very oily throughout the day… that hasn’t happened in a while. I switched back to my normal face wash and I wasn’t oily anymore. Should work great for dry skin I assume
