I decided to try Elta MD PM Restore Moisturizer and I'm sad to say I won't be ordering it again. It's thicker than the daytime Elta MD moisturizer than I use and I don't care for the feel on my skin. Before trying this, I just used the daytime at night and I will go back to using that as I love it.

I love the EltaMD sunscreen line. I tried a sample of this PM Therapy Facial Moisturizer and thought it was worth a try to see if I could use the brand for more of my skin regime. Unfortunately, I’m not loving it. It takes awhile to absorb into the skin and it’s not moisturizing enough as a PM treatment. It’s not bad just not great so I will keep trying to find the right product for my skin.

Elta products are my go-to for daily moisturizers. The PM therapy Facial Moisturizer didn't provide moisture the way other product lines I have used and will continue to use. I love the feeling of this and the way it absorbs, it also did not cause any reaction as far as acne or breaking out. However every time I use this I wake up with dry patches/peeling on my skin which is confusing bc its a moisturizer, so I think I'll have to find something else. :(

One great thing is this PM cream is NOT greasy so you don't have to worry about your pillowcases or sheets getting stained. I found the PM cream lightweight and easy to apply but that's about as far as my good review goes. I applied every night for 2 weeks after my Retin A and serums and still woke up in the morning with semi-dry skin. I don't have overly dry skin and the night cream I have used in the past was great but I bought the EltaMD PM just for a change. After this container is gone I will not reorder anymore. I think for older more mature skin this PM cream is not enough to moisturize.

I like the consistency of this product; not oily/greasy. The smell is neutral; not bad or good. I typically like a fragrance that smells fresh and clean, this does not. I am a long-time user of EltaMD's sunscreens - it's the only brand that I've found that doesn't irritate my eyes throughout the day. I keep a few variations on hand at all times but generally love all of their sun formulas, so I thought I would give this a try.... I don't hate it. It's lightweight, unscented, and seems relatively moisturizing. But I find that it ends up balling up on my skin, especially my cheeks (like it's not being fully absorbed for some reason even though I'm not applying in conjunction with any additional productions). Even worse- it irritates my eyes much more than any of their other products. I'll eventually use the rest of this bottle but I'm going to keep looking for something else.

At first it really did seem to be helping the perioral dermatitis I get around my nose and mouth but as we continue to get into the colder winter months and after using it for almost two month I’m unfortunately not seeing much of a difference.
