Surprisingly Effective
I’ve been using Elta MD sunscreen for years, so I was excited to try their new skin recovery serum and skin recovery moisturizer. SO GOOD
My skin: dry but acne-prone, sensitive + rosacea I genuinely LOVE this product. I've been using it for a few weeks now (ordered as soon as it launched) in conjunction with the Skin Recovery Serum. I was skeptical of the word 'light' and in a sense, it is- it definitely doesn't feel heavy on the skin, but it is *very* hydrating. Especially when paired with the serum. I recently started a newly prescribed rosacea med (cream) and was looking for an oil-free moisturizer and serum that didn't contain a ton of actives for my night routine. I already use EltaMD AM Therapy and think it's the best day-time moisturizer out there, so I went ahead and ordered this moisturizer & the serum at the same time. After just a couple of weeks, my skin is THRIVING. It's soft, hydrated, and dare I say... dewy?! (every dry skin girl's dream) I've also not experienced any breakouts or irritation. Will order this until the end of time.

Excellent Line
The only complaint I have with this lotion is that it is super light, and coming into dryer fall and winter air I know it will not be heavy enough for my skin. Now, in the summer I think this will be perfect under my EltaMD sunscreen.

Wouldn’t buy again
Don’t see any difference with improving barrier or skin elasticity... I saw much better results with other products. Also the smell is super bad and it peels off the face after applying sunscreen... so you can’t use it during the day..
