I’ve been using EltaMD Clear SPF46 daily for years and it’s far and away the best sunscreen I have ever tried. I actually get compliments from people who think I am wearing foundation because it lightly evens out my skin tone and is so hydrating within being greasy. I also have mature skin that is very sensitive and prone to breakouts which had been a problem for me even with hypoallergenic sunscreens until I switched to EltaMD on the recommendation of a dermatologist. I’m absolutely thrilled with it and always afraid to run out so I make sure there is always a new one on hand. Lovely Skin also has specials so I jump on those and stock up! If you have sensitive skin, I highly recommend trying EltaMD clear SPF46.

a staple I'll always use
I live in Colorado where the sun is harsh. I used to use Epionce's similar product, but they stopped offering the clear, untinted version, so I tried this. I just learned that my dermatologist also uses this. It has a very nice feel without being too greasy. Great product!

Best face sunscreen
I have tried other facial sunscreen, and the EltaMD UV Clear is the clear winner. It goes on super smooth, and is not noticeable at all under makeup. It is completely transparent. I have worn this on all day adventures in the desert (reapplied as needed) and have not sunburned. This specific one is also what my dermatologist recommended.

The absolute best sunscreen
I have used this product for years and for good reason it’s one of the only moisturizers that has enough SPF in it to do the job and actually prevent burns. There is a shine to your skin, but nothing that can’t be toned down with a little powder. It is my go to 365 days a year. It is a must have in your beauty arsenal.

EltaMD is a lightweight sunscreen that packs a mighty punch of protection. It is non sticky, has no smell, and goes on as easily as face cream. I personally love the dewy glow left behind after each application as I’m quite pale, but for those looking to even out skin tones, Elta offers a coverage with tint. My sister uses the tinted version and loves it, but I prefer tint free. Her skin is much paler, but I have a bit more yellow and find the tint does not really match me as well. My super blond grandson has been using it on his face since birth and is freckle free at 18. Even my 30 year old daughter’s red-headed boyfriend agrees that after a lifetime of misery he has found a sun block that doesn’t melt into his eyes as he runs or works out. This is my favorite sunscreen although I have 5 I use under different circumstances (different SPF levels, tinted & untinted), etc. the UV Clear glides on soooo easily & absorbs quickly with no pilling. It does make my face, shiny but I don’t mind that. To be able to get two @ a great price was awesome!
