Elta MD has finally hit the nail on the head with this one! I love this product because it doesn’t irritate my eyes; it doesn’t pill when it has dried or if too much is applied;n. Leaves no white layer even while liberally applying. My previous Elta face sunscreen product always pilled if I tried to apply liberally. I thought I’d try it because of its antioxidant and peptide ingredients and I have found a new daily product to fight against sun damage. There’s no sense in investing in facial-skin procedures unless you are willing to protect your results and this new product is now in my repertoire….works fine under my foundation, too. I would definitely recommend trying it. I have Not been requested to write a positive review :)

AOX has very good coverage
I have been a big fan of this brand's "Clear tinted" product for year, but I had to try AOX. It is . same convenient size. AOX is about the same level of tint but I would give AOX points for better coverage when I compare it to their "Clear" product. My skin gets very "cranky" with other sunblocks, but it is very happy with Elta products. AOX is going to be my new sunblock. Thank you, Elta!

I was excited to try this new UV AOX Elements as I have been a long-time user of the original version without AOX. This new product is quite smooth and emollient, and has a warm (very slightly yellowish) tint. It feels great on my dry skin in the winter. Compared to the original formula, this sunscreen is definitely more emollient rather than creamy, and it comes in a smaller container. I think this would be a good sunscreen for someone with very dry skin.

This has been great for my sensitive, 'senior' skin. It is lightweight, has just enough tint that I can use it alone most of the time. If going out socially I sometimes add a powder foundation for a bit more coverage. I've noticed that as the weather got colder and dryer, I am using more pumps to get the coverage needed for my face, neck and chest - 2-3 pumps, vs 1, sometimes 2, during the summer months. I think that speaks to the extra moisturizing my skin needs and the easy absorption of the product. So while I'm not happy about how quickly I am going through the product, I am happy with the hydration it provides, without leaving my skin shiny. (During our warm and humid weather, I used less product, but did have to control the shine with powder.)
