I have used Elta Facial for over 10 years. It has helped keep my skin smooth and relatively line free, along with protecting my face and hands from unnecessary sun exposure. I had melanoma 32 and 30 years ago and have had a few carcinomas removed from my skin. I believe Elta Facial -30 has helped protect my skin over the years.

Perfect for daily sun protection

4 months ago I had CO2 laser surgery on my face for my biggest problem of Sun Damage. I was told that the results would not last if I didnt protect myself better. From the time I was a child I was a sun lover and grew up in a time when the only thing we used for Sun lotion was Baby Oil. A friend who had had the same problem recommended this product. I now live in Florida and go to the beach, long walks and am out 50% of the time. I put this on at all times under my makeup I have absolutely no new sun damage according to my aestetician and although I miss my perennial tan a good bronzer also helps for that.

Superior Face Lotion for Sensitive Skin
I starting using Elta MD UV Facial SPF 30 on recommendation from my dermatologist. I have very sensitive skin, and most face lotions which sunscreen irritate my skin. Not so with Elta MD face lotion, it's incredible. This lotion is very light and creamy, but still provides moisture all day long. I love the added bonus of sunscreen in this product, and my skin's appearance has improved greatly with protection from the sun.

I like the fact this had both UVA and UVB protection, but still spelled like a chemical sunscreen and make-up was very blotchy over the product. I wish I could actually return it. I also purchased the SPF 40 because my derm said to use one in the winter and the other in the summer. Will be donating to my husbands skin product pile...
