Good for a mineral spf
This is a mineral spf so it does have a slight white cast but it’s not terrible. Texture is nice, no irritation. I preferred this on my body.

Holy grail sunscreen
I use this sunscreen on my body only (I use a different sunscreen on my face). When I first tried it, it was a bit scary going on as it goes on quite white and somewhat thick but it sinks into my skin quickly leaving no cast and I've experienced zero tanning or burning. (even after being in the sun for hours). Removed a star because though I love it and it's my holy grail I wish it were just a bit thinner.

Excellent Non-chemical Sunscreen for Face and Body
I needed a Pure (No chemical) broad spectrum face and body sunscreen for daily use living in a sunny southern climate. This sunscreen fit the bill for daily use. It goes on white and absorbs but leaves a bit of a white finish immediately after application. It doesn't pill under makeup. I love that it is a safe sunscreen and that it can be used on face and body and works with or without makeup.

A little thick but no white cast
Overall I'm very happy with this sunscreen. It's a little thick going on but there is no white cast. I also think it would be good for oily skin types because it's not so shiny but yet it is not drying for my sensitive skin.

Great spf for the beach or working out

Very effective but a bit white on the face
I'm fair and need protection after 70 years of living at the seashore during summer months. My dermatologist highly recommends Elta MD products. Typically, I use the SPF 40 face sunscreen, occasionally the 45. Both are easily absorbed. This 47 is for face and body and is a bit sticky. The zinc oxide does show slightly. Removing it from my face required a good cleanser, followed by a clarifying lotion. I do recommend for those who need excellent sun protection.

This sunscreen does an excellent job of blocking the sun. It does leave a slight white cast on my face. For biking, tennis, hiking, etc. The white cast is worth the protection. For other situations I will use the tinted version.

Nice but a little white cast

Gets the job done
I purchased this sunscreen because I am pregnant and physical sunscreen is safer than chemical sunscreen. This sunscreen leaves a white finish on your skin and can be hard to get off after your time outside.

Very good sunsreen
Since I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin, and swim, I needed a water resistant one, that was kind to my face. It does not make me break out, and actually feels soothing on my skin. Since it is white, you do have to rub it in, which is not great for rosacea, but my skin settles down, and unlike some other reviews stated, it doesn't leave a white cast. I have started swimming in the evening now, but still use this sunscreen every day. LovelySkin also does a really nice job with packaging.

Great stuff for fair skinned people
I have very fair skin (everyone in my family does). Need a strong sunblock to keep my beautiful skin nice and fair and White. This does it. Not smelly, not sticky, not heavy, and you get a lot of use out of it.

Daily sunscreen for body
