Great Protection, But Heavy
This is a great choice if you're doing outdoor sports. It's not the prettiest or best feeling on- heavy and white. But I've used it when I'm sweating and not gotten a single ray.

Not Quite Perfect.
I’ve tried all of EltaMD’s physical sunscreens and have yet to find one that feels as elegant as UV Clear. I’m done with chemical sunscreens and I hope that EltaMD will continue to work towards a better physical option for me. UV Replenish no doubt protects my skin but I’ve tried so many ways of making this formula feel less itchy and tacky on my skin. No luck and I’ll likely go back to UV Pure until something better comes along.

Don't use if you have olive skin
I appreciate the spf coverage but it leaves a white film kind of like when you put spf 50 or higher on your skin. And it shows more on darker skin tones. Recommend the ur elements for olive tone skin.

Good but thick
I had forgotten that I ordered this before. I like that it's physical and water resistant. But I had forgotten how thick it is. I specifically wanted a non tinted because the tinted sunscreens tend to get all over my hats and collars. For me, it's a bit thick to wear under make up because I have super dry skin so it makes things a hard to spread.

Nice but white cast...
This is a very hydrating physical sunscreen, but left my medium skin tone with a very noticeable white cast that was difficult to cover up with my tinted powder sunscreen. The consistency is slightly thick and requires a little bit more work to rub it in, but dries down to a dewy finish and does not feel greasy. A plus is that it's water resistant. It's too bad this particular sunscreen doesn't come in a tinted version though. In the end, I gave this to a friend.

I kept it to use on my neck, but it's not that great for the money. It is a bit difficult to rub in on the face and I'm quite pale. It comes out of the tube thinner but upon application it is less aesthetically pleasing. I like that it is fragrance free and mineral based but not that many beneficial ingredients (esp. in large amounts), and it's application is just fair.

This formula, like all Elta sunscreens, is unscented. This one though has a bit of a masking scent. It is a fluid type texture but not too thin and is very hydrating. It leaves your face looking shiny. It definitely has a white tint, but it disappears as you massage it in. Be prepared to spend a bit of extra time rubbing it in! As always, this is an excellent physical blocking sunscreen.

Left Much To Be Desired
This product was better than some sunscreens I have tried, but for the price, I was not impressed with its performance. First the pros: (1) high SPF rating and (2) non-irritating for my sensitive skin. Now the cons: (1) heavy feel and (2) left a substantial white cast that did not dry down clear. Personally, I was not impressed with this product and would not repurchase.

I normally love EltaMD. The products are excellent. However, I do not like the consistency of the sunscreen it is very thick and leaves a white coat on your skin. If you are looking for sun protection, this might be a good product, but if you don’t like any residue on your skin, this is not the best.
