This is a nice light moisturizer. Sometimes it’s not enough for how dry it is where I live, and I just put on another moisturizer on top of it. It does take some time to dry, so if you’re putting makeup or anything over the top of this, you need to wait a little longer for it to dry. If not, whatever you put on top of this will pill. As for the features of what this product is supposed to do for my skin, I have yet to see any significant difference. However, I have not been using this for very long, so I may just need more time.

I’ve never really used a “night cream” before. I’ve always had combo skin and used the same light moisturizer I used during the day. Potent & effective night cream for peri / post menopausal skin
I purchased the Emepelle night cream upon the recommendation of a skin care expert. I bought it as a set that included the Emepelle Serum separately. I find the night cream has a bit of a tingle to it when it is applied. It maybe the retinol in it. The tingle doesn’t last long & skin feels well moisturized. My skin was dry & dull due to years of Estrogen depletion caused by menopause. This night cream has given my fresher looking skin. I recommend avoiding the eye & next areas initially as it’s a bit strong and takes some gradual building up to. Great night cream overall.

A Bit Harsh
Empelle products were recommended to me by my dermatologist. I have been using both the night cream and the serum for over two months now. Although I really like the serum, the night cream which contains retinol is a bit harsh for my skin. I've noticed some flaking and peeling that I did not experience previously with other retinol products. Now I'm only using this product a few times a week to avoid looking dry.

I was looking for exactly this product not knowing something like this existed and while $$, I went for it and the serum. I must say that at first, I was not impressed, but I stayed with it. This at night and the serum during the day under a moisturizer. About a week later, I started to notice that my face looked less age/hormone affected and I'm happy! It is expensive, but I think that this product is making a difference. Less fine lines and I look less drawn. If you are on the fence but it sounds like what you need. Do it.
