Still undecided - will wait to use again in the Spring

I purchased this product after loving the sample. However, after prolonged use, my skin became dry and itchy. It could be due to several things. As just said - prolonged use might have caused the dryness due to the charcoal's effect of absorbing sebum. I thought the blackberry oil would offset the charcoal effect - perhaps not. Also, it could be the change in weather. I live in the Midwest, and when the heat is used as winter approaches, my skin becomes more dry. Another concern: I think the manufacturers would have considered this: but can the charcoal enter skin pores and make them appear darker? Hmmmm. Now, I will place this product in a drawer and bring it out in the Spring for another try. Until then, I will continue to use a serum from a different brand - it seems to add the moisture my skin needs in the winter.
