Gentle Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
I'm a bit surprised by the mixed reviews on this product. I love the coconut smell of this wash. It's extremely gentle on sensitive skin and leaves the skin feeling very smooth. I use a wash cloth with water just to dampen my skin first, then apply the Rice Milk wash with a cotton pad. I use it all around my ears, back of my neck, top of my back (as far down as I can reach under my shirt), clavicle and chest area. Then I use the wash cloth to rinse it off. This is my night time regimen. Because this product is so watery, I prefer not to use it in the shower so I use a different cleanser in the morning. I have sensitive skin, rosacea, and psoriasis. I have combination skin. It's very dry all over which causes extra oil production, so it's also oily all over. I hope this review helps someone - good luck!

Eminence Rice Milk made my skin feel great. I used it after I finished with my first two steps, which is to use cleansing oil followed by my Peter Lamas Detoxifying Citrus C Cleanser. My third step has now become using Eminence's Rice Milk as a final cleansing/soothing step before rinsing. I would use this product as a toner vs. rinsing it off, however, I make organic fermented rice water at home to use as a toner. This cleansing water makes my skin feel smooth, supple, and ready for the next steps in my daily skincare regimen. Personally, I like the scent and look forward to it, but it is strong for those of you who prefer non-scented or mildly scented products. Usually I avoid strong scents, yet this one smells very clean and natural and non-synthetic so I am pleased. If you wear makeup, this cleansing water is not going to take off anything heavy. In that case, I would use it as a second step for a final cleanse, as well as to lightly moisturize, and tone.

First time I have been disappointed with an Eminence product
The smell on this one is sickly sweet for me but the bigger problem is my skin feels sticky and filmy after I use it so I feel the need to rinse my face after using it. After years with the brand it is the first time I have had a marked negative reaction to a product.

I use this with a cotton pad to remove my makeup at night- it is an amazing feeling to feel and see the make up come off. I then use an eminence cleanser after that to completely remove and wash off everything! Love that routine and it works really well for me.

Pleasant Skin Cleanser, but not a Favorite
I prefer to use this skin cleanser as a eye makeup remover, rather than a skin cleanser. It works great for removing eye makeup, just did not make my entire skin feel cleansed when used as an overall cleanser. It has a pleasant scent and does feel great on the skin around your eyes, though.
