The individual capsules are great for travel (no leaks) and prolonging the life of the Vitamin C, however the serum is a bit thick for day use and the manufacturer recommends evening use.. Most derms and aestheticians I've seen suggest using Vit C during the day, and although it could be used then, it's so-so under sunscreen and/or makeup. I bought this mostly for travel, but will try supplementing my daytime Vitamin C serum with this at night to see if I notice more improvements.

This is yet another time I have really enjoyed a sample they have sent me. I think I may have even chosen it twice! I really like the smoothness of my skin after i apply the vit C caplets, I love the way that it seems to melt into my skin. I also like that the serum is sealed and not exposed to air or any sort of debris and I don't have to deal with any poorly working pump. It's simple, clean, and sanitary. I received a couple of capsules as a trial sample and liked the portability of this vitamin C capsule, especially for traveling. I usually use my liquid Vitamin C serums in the morning after my TNS serum and before my moisturizer and sunscreen. However, this product says to use it at night and also to make sure you wear sunscreen during the day. I tried it at night after my serum and the product tingled for about 15 minutes after application. I do have sensitive skin. I have used this product twice per week at night. Since that direct application I have been combining this capsule with my night moisturizer which cut down on the stinging. I have only used this a few times so I can't comment on the effectiveness but do want to warn others with sensitive skin about the potency. I will use up this bottle but probably won't order it again.

My esthetician initially recommended this product for skin brightening and to help my hyperpigmentation. I like that it comes in individual capsules and there is enough product to cover my face and neck. HOWEVER, it has a fine grainy texture and it takes a long time to absorb into my skin. If you need to apply moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup afterwards it does not set well. I then started using at night and since my este has recommended different products.

This is terrific for traveling. You only need to take the number of capsules you need for the trip. I like the results and the 20% concentration too. My only complaint and why I took of 1 star is it that it is rather thick and a bit difficult to spread over you entire face. I put moisturizer and sunblock on top and it can get a bit greasy since this is heavier than some other vitamin c products I have used. When I am at home I use another product which is lighter and spreads easier.
