Unfortunately, this shampoo didn’t relieve my itchy scalp. The shampoo is thick and hard to get through the hair to the scalp, and it left my hair very dry.

I purchased this to help with a lot of flaking and extreme scalp dryness related to eczema. I have reduced itch and flaking despite this shampoo containing ingredients my dermatologist suggested I avoid. It has a synthetic fragrance that I don't care for, but it doesn't seem to bother my scalp and doesn't hang around for too long after my hair dries. I will continue to use it.

Great for dry flaky scalp
I'm using this with the matching conditioner, my scalp is always dry, irritated and flaky, I've tried just about all the over the counter shampoos and this one is finally soothing my scalp. The first time I shampoo'd and conditioned I still had some patchy spots on my scalp the next day, but the second time I shampoo'd and conditioned (a couple days later) I have no patchy spots on my scalp the next day! The scent is clean and pleasant, not herby, maybe like a very light cologne.
