I just received the skin smoothing laser and was excited to begin use. Unfortunately, the electrical plug on the base unit is loose?... I noticed the blue light that indicates active charging was not on. When I hold the charging plug in place (the plug that inserts into the base unit), the blue light will appear. I called the lovely skin rep and they are going to send me a replacement unit but now I wonder if I made a mistake by purchasing. Was this just a defective unit or could this be a more widespread problem with the product? The rep stated that they have received similar complaints regarding this problem and that "iluminage is aware of the problem". Another reviewer on this site mentioned her unit quit charging after 4 months. This product is too costly to have to worry about lack of longevity with its functioning. Im going to try the replacement unit, as I would love for this to work! Will post a review after using the laser. (hopefully:)
