Lovely product Should not have to buy 3!
I liked this product, but was only trying it for the first time. I was made to buy three lip balms at one time. Felt like good business for the manufacturer, but twisted my arm as the consumer.

Pretty Good
This balm is definitely moisturizing but feels a little oily. It also gets really stiff if left in a cold car. The smell and taste aren't great either. Wouldn't pay $8.00 for a tube.

great value
This balm feels very much like a thin vaseline. It is not sticky and leaves a shiny finish. It definitely has a flavor to it (depending on what variety you buy). If you kiss someone who is wearing it, you will taste their lip balm!

Rather better than many other lip care products
Lip balms are like hand creams - there are so many to choose from and so many are mediocre. The Jack Black formula is not an intense therapy formula. But it creates a solid barrier that isolates your lips from the cold and the wind and it does not dissolve after a few minutes like so many other products do. So right there, you are ahead of the game with this product. Plus the price is hard to beat. I recently bought the one with Shea Butter for extra cocooning but the mint one is the most fun to use and except for the mint there is not much difference in the formula. Bottom line it is a good product to have around.
