Amazing Base Mineral Powder
I purchased this powder for the first time. I like how it goes on and it doesn’t cake. I think the color is a little yellow for me, which would be my own fault since I guess I didn’t pick the right color. I think I would try a different color and possibly I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, though. It doesn’t seem to have any radiance to it As the color suggests.

Non drying mineral powder
I have a love hate relationship with powders. I am 69 and have sun damage and wrinkles that accompany the years. My skin is combination, dry around the eyes and mouth, but oily eye lids, t zone and enlarged pores on nose. I apply this after a tinted primer or tinted sunscreen, and a little concealer or maybe brightener around my under eye circles and bags. This powder goes on smoothly, minimizes pores and does not emphasize wrinkles or dry patches, but gives a soft blur effect and eliminates shine. Fairly happy with, just wish it had more of a spf, because it is minimal and I don’t want to continuously apply other sunscreen. You could spend half a day waiting for each layer to dry before adding anything else. It would be nice if it had at least a 30 spf and you could simply apply a little more powder as needed throughout the day. It seems very buildable, and I have not found it to be cakey. Have purchased more than once.

I have used Jane Iredale for several years and like it. What I don't like is the plastic that covers the holes. It is VERY DIFFICULT to remove and I feel sorry for people with arthritis. Surely there is something better

This loose powder goes on smoothly and covers well. It is a great match for my fair skin. The fact that it has SPF is a plus. The reason I took away a star is that it is often hard to get the right amount out of the container with the holes punched in the base...especially when there is little product left. This is my second purchase of this product and will continue to use/but.

Have used this product for about 2 years and I really like it. Originally used it after a laser procedure. Since there is no talc I could use as a makeup base within 3 days. Feels like wearing no make up at all. Now I wear over my liquid base most days but still wear it alone sometimes. Has SPF 20 which is good. I would recommend getting the Jane Iredale brush also. Both products last a long time. Still using original brush. Hardest part is poking the right amount of holes in the top for product to dispense.
