I love Jane Iredale Powder Me SPF. I use it every day. I really liked the old sponge applicator system, so I purchased multiple replacement sponges before it was discontinued. I plan to put these refills in that container. I'm hoping they bring back a similar application system someday soon. The actual powder is excellent.

Quality powder
I love this for my everyday powder -- it gives me such a warm glow. I would not recommend using it if it's your only source for sunscreen, but layered with sunscreen, I think it's the perfect combination to protect this 51 year old skin. Such natural coverage, yet gives a nice, smooth finish. I kept my original refill container as I prefer the sponge for application with my own brush, over using the brush that comes in the new packaging. Big fan!

I use this Powder SPF 30 every day as a make-up finish and my daily SPF. I've been using SPF powder finish for years and I like this product because it is translucent. It looks natural not like I've applied a bronzer powder. I keep one product with the applicator brush in my car because I can re-apply SPF and the efficacy of the powder will not degrade in a hot car. At home, I use the refills which I apply with a fluffy brush. When going into the sun, I apply sunscreen lotion or cream, then top it with his SPF powder. I use it 365 days a year!

Great product for mid day sunscreen needs
Since I live in a hot sunny climate, this wouldn't be my only sunscreen to depend on but it is great for over my sunscreen lotion and I love it for midday touch ups that won't mess up your makeup. Its always been a struggle to reapply cream sunscreen when I have a full face of makeup and this adds a bit of coverage and helps to mattify my oily face and best of all it doesn't have chemical sunscreen. I must use the darkest shade because the rest are too ashy on my tan skin.

The most convenient way to reapply sunscreen
I have tried many brands when it comes to powder sunscreen, especially in this type of component. I think it’s the best quality brush head with washable soft bristles. Yes, it will come out splotchy (they all do) but I just use a more fluffier powder brush to buff the powder evenly onto my face, neck and chest. Also, the tanned shade is not very dark. I have a light medium complexion with yellow undertones and it blends in perfectly.

Fabulous mineral powder
I'm on day 4 of using Translucent Powder Me over a layer of Cotz tinted spf 40 and I think I'm in love. It imparts a beautiful finish, not white nor cakey as some reviews elsewhere complain. I'm fairly light complected (MAC C2/NC20) and I'm so happy I purchased the translucent. And the best part, besides its beautiful finish, is that it's completely fungal acne safe! I will add that my skin is not only fungal-prone but freakishly sensitive, so here's my tip. Purchase the refills, decant them into a rotating sifter jar (I used a clean, dry bare minerals jar). Then use a brush that you know your skin tolerates (many irritate or inflame mine). Applying it this way, I get great coverage without any patches. Nor does it look powdery. It's just lovely. Two thumbs up!

I love this powdered sunscreen! I carry it in my purse to touch up and protect my face during the day, if I have sweated off my morning liquid sunscreen. I use it every day on my eyelids, where I don't apply liquid sunscreen. It goes on beautifully, light texture. And the price is right!
