When l first got this eyeshadow and tried it, l was like, l may be returning this. It looked too light, and the first time, l was a little heavy handed with it. I applied it again, with a lighter application, and it was actually pretty. I also mix the darker color with the lighter color and blend it in, and it comes out pretty each time. And it has good staying power as well. I don’t think l will buy again, but l will use this one up.

Natural looking eye shadows

Perfect trio
I have the Sundown and Harmony triple shadow palettes and I like them both especially the Harmony one. It’s so hard to find a nice green shadow that looks sophisticated and elegant without looking like a clown wearing emerald green shadow. This has a subtle hazy khaki green to it and looks perfect with my blue eyes. I don’t have young eyelids anymore so I usually avoid shadows that aren’t matte but Jane’s shadows have a soft satin finish to them that looks great.

Great neutral shadow
This is a lovely neutral eye shadow for daywear, or anytime. Very basic, nice quality shadow, and it would work for most skin tones. I contacted the company to ask for a Jane Iredale shadow that would be close to their old "Cappuccino" shadow, which was a lovely and perfect taupe shade. This is what was recommended. I do like this trio -- but not quite as much as the discontinued "Cappuccino," which is why I just gave it 4 stars.
